Athletics' Cahill takes AL weekly honors

He trails only Hall of Famer Nolan Ryan, who holds the record of 20 consecutive from July 27, 1972 to April 18, 1973 with the California Angels.
Others considered for the weekly honor were Toronto right-hander Brandon Morrow, who came within one out of pitching a no-hitter on Sunday against Tampa Bay, New York Yankees first baseman Mark Teixeira, Boston third baseman Adrian Beltre and Seattle second baseman Chone Figgins.
